May 2018 - Treatment of the seeds for the 2018 field trials campaign was performed in April and May at Aegilops facilities. In few weeks, 250 kg of seeds were treated, packaged and sent to the contractors to arrive on time for sowing. It is a period of intense activity for Aegilops in charge of the treatment of the seeds, as most of the seeds have to be treated at the same period.
The beetroot, sunflower, corn and soybean field trials were sowed in the different countries between the 7th of April and the 9th of May. In the next few months the principal mission of the project team will be to visit most of the trials to evaluate on field the performances of the biostimulant treatments developed in the framework of STIMUL Life project.
