- CYCOM® 977-2: A toughened epoxy resin, this thermoset composite offers exceptional processing benefits for launch vehicles with a proven pedigree for space applications. With a long shelf life, easy processing properties, excellent impact resistance and outstanding thermal performance, CYCOM® 977-2 is optimal for use in structural applications for launch and space applications.
- MX 4926N: Available in several product forms for a wide variety of configurations and processing techniques, this ablative exhibits excellent dimensional stability at high temperatures. MX 4926N provides outstanding insulation and ablation characteristics for complex launch vehicle components, such as rocket motor nozzles.
- MX 2600: As a compression moldable and autoclave-compatible composite material, MX 2600 is well-suited for use as an ablative in rocket motor nozzle applications.
- CYCOM® 1908: This high-temperature composite is compatible with oven or autoclave curing procedures, and offers good fiber tensile translation and low resin reactivity. CYCOM® 1908 towpreg is well-suited for use in the manufacturing of thick wall composites, which makes it optimal for use in rocket motor case winding applications.
- MTM® prepregs provide flexible curing temperature, high performance, toughened epoxy matrix system optimized for low pressure, vacuum bag processing or autoclave cure of payload fairing and other space structures.
- CYCOM® 5320-1: A toughened epoxy resin prepreg system strategically designed for out-of-autoclave manufacturing, CYCOM® 5320-1 is ideal for various primary structure, cryogenic tank and fairing applications y. This composite offers exceptional mechanical properties and is suitable for low-cost tooling, which makes it a material of choice across many launch vehicle applications.
- CYCOM® EP2190: As a highly toughened resin formulated with advanced epoxy chemistry, CYCOM® EP2190 is specifically optimized with excellent impact and fatigue resistance for efficient structure applications. Equipped with outstanding cure robustness and stability, this composite material is suitable for use in AFP manufacturing of launch vehicle structures.
- BR® 127: This corrosion-inhibiting primer is a modified epoxy primer. It is the industry standard for high-performance, corrosion-inhibiting primers and has been used in many space programs since its introduction.
