During the preliminary phase, Syensqo experts will analyze a large set of data to determine the most relevant parameters to use in the model. Both ore characterization data such as chemical assays and plant performance data could be required to build the model.

Yes, SmartFloat™ is system agnostic. It offers various integration strategies. SmartFloat™ is currently deployed as a stand alone and DCS integration (through Osisoft PI).

Syensqo owns the SmartFloat™ model. Equipment ownership depends on integration strategy.

SmartFloat™ manages the whole reagent protocol (suite). This primarily includes dosage of the collectors with options to manage modifiers such as lime and frothers.

All reagents required to optimize the process can be controlled by SmartFloat™.

SmartFloat™ relies on Syensqo proprietary models.

Relevant inputs are determined by the algorithm during the calibration period among all the data available. As each plant is unique, meaningful inputs will be specific.

Current operations are focused on copper and copper-gold but the model can be applied to any metal system.

SmartFloat™ would seek to maximize recovery taking into accounts a set of predefined constraints. Parameters can be adjusted with the help of your Syensqo technical contact.

Historical data is used to build and calibrate a model and a test period will confirm the validity of the model. This period depends on the variability of the ore and the desired confidence required in that period.

Syensqo is constantly monitoring the quality of the models to update them on a regular basis.

Yes, the model will be trained on historical data including the rapid change of ore.

Yes, SmartFloat™ requires calibration per site to validate the model.
