Naternal™ Guar Gum P SGI can be used in many types of formulations (shampoo, body wash, hair conditioner, hair treatment). In isotropic cleansers, Naternal™ Guar Gum P SGI requires low electrolytes content (typically < 0.5%) to avoid jeopardising the product's stability.

Naternal™ Guar Gum P SGI can advantageously be combined with xanthan gum. This makes the combination ideal for optimizing the thickening efficacy while also delivering suspension properties, improving the salt tolerance of the guar gum and reducing the jelly effect usually observed with Xanthan Gum.
