Where we stand today
Striving for a gender-inclusive leadership
At Syensqo, we are committed to creating an inclusive workplace where everyone has equal opportunities to succeed.
We support progression and opportunities without discrimination against any employee based on race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information or any other trait protected by law. That's why we ensure we have diverse candidate pools, and invest in inclusive leadership for all new managers. We recognize the importance of providing conditions that support all employees with caring responsibilities, regardless of gender.
Importantly, our pursuit of a gender-inclusive leadership does not translate to fewer opportunities for men; rather, it amplifies competition and ensures that selection is based solely on skills, fostering a culture of fairness and meritocracy at every level of the organization.
Delivering impact
Here are a just a few examples of the progress we are making:
- 88% participation of new managers in inclusive leadership workshops
- We’re offering all employees 16 weeks paid parental leave, regardless of gender and orientation.
- Our confidential Speak Up program helps to ensure we have safe spaces to report non-inclusive behaviors.
- We don’t request a salary history in the selection process to ensure greater pay equity for roles.
We conduct an equal-pay-for-equal-level gap analysis every year in order to identify opportunities for improvement. We have a community of 160 local Inclusion Activators across over 80 sites around the world.
The power of partnerships
Syensqo is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace. As part of our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, Syensqo does not discriminate against any employee, applicant for employment, supplier, client, or customer because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information or any other trait protected by law.
