With the increased demand for respirators, Syensqo’s Galden® PFPE is used in the vapor phase process to manufacture medically-sterile oxygen sensors for flow meters that monitor airway pressure in patients. Galden® PFPE are high-performance, inert, fluorinated fluids that allow for precise vapor temperatures up to 260°C (500°F) when melting lead-free solder paste.
Lubricants for Oxygen Supply Systems
Fomblin® PFPE is a high-purity oil and base oil for greases used to lubricate O-rings, fittings, valves and regulators for high pressure air systems used to provide oxygen service. Fomblin® PFPE-based formulations are available through our network of partners.
