Cleansing & Foaming Solutions 

Cleansing & foaming surfactants are designed to give formulators unmatched control of foam creation and, therefore an outstanding sensory experience for consumers who will feel the cleansing mechanism in operation. Syensqo works with formulators to design the most effective and compatible foaming surfactants as anionics (for sulfated-based or non-sulfated chassis), amphoterics and nonionics for a wide range of face and body solutions.

Conditioning Solutions

Today’s beauty formulators require a range of ingredients that deliver high-performance products with appealing sensory experiences for consumers while not compromising the planet's health. Syensqo's range of bio-based conditioning polymers is derived from guar gum, a natural polymer extracted from the seeds of guar beans (Cyamopsis Tetragonoloba Taub), which Southern Asian farmers have been growing for centuries. 

The cationic guar range of Syensqo's Jaguar® and Naternal™ grades provides formulators with a wide range of high-performing ingredients for both clear and opaque solutions. With these grades, Syensqo takes safe and ethical approaches to offer ideal solutions to design naturally-derived body washes, liquid soaps, facial washes and others that appeal to consumers invested in the sustainable beauty trend.

Biosurfactants

Biosurfactants represent a step-change in the eco-design of beauty care formulations progressively replacing synthetic surfactants that can lead to sensitizing and safety issues for the consumer linked to problematic impurities resulting from the synthesis pathway (e.g. dioxane, sultones, fatty amines…).

Syensqo's biosurfactants are produced by fermentation using noticeably non-GMO rapeseed oil, a natural feedstock accessible in the region where they are produced and sold. The Mirasoft® SL range provides hair and body care formulators with a range of nature-derived biosurfactants that meet the desire of consumers to care for themselves and live more sustainably.
