RHODAPHOS® NICAT is most commonly employed in dimerizations of olefins of varying lengths (butenes, propenes, ethenes etc.). In many cases, the catalyst increases and/or maximizes the creation of 2-butene. RHODAPHOS® NICAT has also been employed as a catalyst for forming polymers via condensation.
