We count on you for:

  • Provide process engineering support in the production department to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems involved with day-to-day ongoing operations.
  • Monitor the day-to-day performance of the unit. Develop, propose, implement and/or follow up on process and facility improvements involved in ongoing operations (variable cost, productivity, quality, HSE, reliability, maintenance)
  • Analyze, in collaboration with HSE, R&I and Quality groups, incidents with respect to capacity, quality and HSE to identify root cause(s) and take effective corrective actions.
  • Track, document, analysis and prepare reports for OEE. Develop and propose countermeasures for potential improvements
  • Follow up technological developments within own domain of expertise through a network of technological informants like Group Engineering & Construction, the T-function, and R&I.
  • Collaborate with technological informants to introduce new products in the unit, including manufacturing specifications for projects, preparation and follow up of industrial trials
  • Provide support in development of budget proposals for process improvements, and support effective implementation upon approval. Provide support to the T-function as required for construction projects
  • Assist with preparation and, when appropriate, delivery of technical training for employees
  • Ensure Federal/State/Local and PSM compliance with constant monitoring and documentation of the requirements as identified by the agencies.
  • Production (OEE), Costs and Quality (OSQ/OAQ) at targets
  • Performance management tools actively tracking performance and used to develop prioritized action plans
  • Regulatory activities (PHA, MOC, PSSR) completed per requirements and on-time
  • Improvement initiatives identified, implemented and completed per targets

You will bring:

  • 3-5 years minimum required experience in a chemical manufacturing, PSM experience preferred
  • Minimum Education: BS in Engineering
  • Preferred Education: BS in Chemical Engineering
  • Technical knowledge of chemical plant unit operations and work processes
  • Ability to lead and collaborate in problem-solving and root-cause investigation
  • Ability to support and influence change / continuous improvement
  • Working knowledge of Google applications (Gmail, Drive, etc) & MS Office Programs

You will get:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package
  • The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $92,000 to $120,000 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
