We are looking for:
A Site Controller is a key player in ensuring the finance function is effective, has good controls and adds value to the group - will be responsible for business partnering to the plant management, industrial function and project teams within the Business Units. A key part of the Site Leadership Team supporting the Plant Management with the financial and operational strategies of the business while guaranteeing financial controls and conveying financial information clearly and concisely to non-financial stakeholders and contributing significantly to operational efficiency and cost optimisation. You will interact with: Plant Management & Plant teams ; Regional and WW Industrial Controller; Segment Finance teams / Corporate Controlling ; Dashboard & Analysis Platform ( other teams ) ; GBS / P2P organization ( Broader than GBS ) ; Excellence Center.
We count on you:
- Management of all product costing and inventory valuation processes within SAP in accordance with Group requirements & policies. Performing internal controls involves ensuring policies and procedures are followed
- Ensuring adherence and compliance with Corporate Policies
- Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions and balance sheet reconciliations including inventory control, maintenance of fixed asset registers, and part of the process of capital expenditure.
- Headcount and labour cost control using available tools
- Responsible for annual stock count and fixed asset inventories.
- Supporting insurance data collection process
- Overseeing the audit process and liaising with external personnel where required.
- Assist Operations and Plant Managers with the periodic update of standard costs in the bill of materials and associated reports.
- Understand the business drivers through trend analysis, engaging with operations and other business partners to identify root causes and countermeasures.
- Monitor business performance and provide understanding behind the numbers to drive performance improvement.
- Support the business with the financial strategy and decision-making processes
- Any other ad hoc duties as required
Leading in budget & other forecasts:
- Lead the Site Leadership Team with information from own perimeter relevant for the preparation of the budget,the rolling forecast and other management cycles requirements
- Maintain templates for forecasts & budgeting reporting processes
- Presentations to regional industrial leaders to explain performance and provide insights
- Leading analysis, validation and reporting of business information, as well as proposals and advice for decisions:
- Performing month-end close process
- Financial and non-financial data, available in ERP, to control and analyze the performance against references.
- Collaborate with service center on necessary SAP entries - especially any impact on reporting (FI/CO) - Reporting related activities, ensuring timely submission of site results and qualitative reporting of variances for variable and fixed cost
- Manage the site financial reporting to the GBUs and to the management of the site - including presentations to explain performance and provide insights
- Act as a partner on excellence/savings initiatives, supporting the site management, bringing ideas as well as savings tracking
- Reliability of cost accounting key figures and/or P/L reporting
- Analyze costs and variances on yields and consumptions
- Inventory impacts (inventory slow turn reserves)
- Collect local business information to submit accruals when material
- Support GBU Projects/Reestructuring plans according to business units needs.
You will bring:
- Bachelors Degree preferably in finance or business administration
- 3-5 years, in industry context (preferably)
- Previous controlling experience ( preferably site manufacturing )
- Strong leadership skills
- Strong communicator with financial and non-financial collaborators

- Ability to synthesize complex issues into actionable activities

- The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $94,960 to $118,700 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
