Xydar® LCP (liquid crystal polymer) is a glass fiber or mineral-filled resin that features excellent flow properties. It can be injection molded into thin-wall components and has outstanding strength at extreme temperatures to 300°C (572°F). Xydar® LCP resin is inherently flame retardant and has outstanding chemical resistance with little or no flash.

Market Applications

- Xydar® G-930 Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) is a glass-reinforced injection mold grade developed specifically for electrical/electronic applications utilizing surface mount technology.
- Xydar® M-345 Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) is a 45% mineral reinforced injection mold grade developed for electrical/electronic applications utilizing surface mount technology. The material can fill very thin walls over long flow lengths.
