The sustainable alternative to NPE for cleaning
Rhodoclean®️ EFC V2 is a low foam surfactant with a powerful cleaning performance that makes it suitable for low temperature and spray or aspersion cleaning. It is an effective and biodegradable alternative to NPE and APE. Rhodoclean®️ EFC V2 is a non-ionic surfactant uniquely derived from pine oil.
Features and Benefits
- Excellent cleaning properties at low temperature
- Low foam
- Surfactant derived from natural oil
- A great alternative to alkyl and nonyl phenol ethoxylates
A good alternative to Alkyl Phenol Ethoxylates
Alkyl phenol ethoxylates (APE), especially nonyl phenol ethoxylates (NPE) have been the reference universal non-ionic surfactants for cleaning. However, increasing environmental regulations are motivating change in how surfactants are used.
Pine oil derivative β-Pinene, is a branched and cyclic material that brings the unique properties of Rhodoclean®️ EFC V2.
Excellent wetting and cleaning properties
Outstanding migration to the interface of Rhodoclean®️ EFC V2.
On its own, Rhodoclean®️ EFC V2 shows great cleaning performances even compared to well-known NPE formulated product and ethoxylated alcohol.
When tested alone for its cleaning power, Rhodoclean®️ EFC V2 achieves at least 80% of cleaning efficiency (water break film test) for various oils and metal substrates.
A very low foam non-ionic surfactant
The unique structure of the hydrophobic chain of Rhodoclean®️ EFC V2 leads to an outstanding low foam profile, even lower than cleaners formulated for low foam spray applications.
