Peridiam® is our seed coating brand which was founded in 1987. Its name comes from a combination of two words:
- Peri for peripheric, because the products are added around the seed to give it all the properties of safety against dust, the treatment used beforehand, facilitation in the process with a better fluidity and therefore a better seedability in fine.
- Diam for diamond, because the products will enhance the seed with colour and/or shine effects, and because seed coating is valuable because it brings real added value to processes and seedlings that want to be part of a sustainable development approach.
Thanks to its historical experience, the Peridiam® brand offers quality products, technical expertise thanks to a century-old dedicated site, customer support with people in each region dedicated to guiding and accompanying projects and customers, and a diversified portfolio with adapted solutions.
Therefore, The Peridiam® portfolio is a crucial component of Syensqos Agriculture and Feed solutions, and of our newly created Seed Care platform, which combines our seed-applied biosolutions and seed coatings products recently acquired from Bayer SeedGrowth. We aim to continue the superior service and quality commitments that the industry has come to expect from the Peridiam® brand, as well as introduce Syensqo's unique chemical and historical expertise to enhance operational safety and sustainability.
