Specially formulated emulsifier
Abex® range of specialty emulsifiers are designed to improve the performance of emulsion polymers formulated into waterborne architectural coatings, waterborne industrial coatings and adhesives. These specially formulated emulsifiers can be used in a wide range of polymer systems, such as all acrylic, styrene acrylic, vinyl acrylic, vinyl veova, etc. They provide significant performance improvement, including small particle size control, grit reduction and stability of pre-monomer emulsion, among others. Because they are specially formulated emulsifiers, in most cases, they can be used as a sole emulsifier.
What is a nonionic surfactant?
A nonionic surfactant is a basic surfactant that is neutral, or without charge.
What is emulsion polymerization?
Emulsion polymerization is a type of polymerization that starts when polymers, monomers or surfactants are incorporated into water. Polymer particles are suspended in liquid.
Abex® applications
