Ultra-Low Foam Control Agents For Water Treatment

Industrial and municipal water treatment plants use a variety of processing methods that often result in foam production. Syensqo's Antarox®, a family of ultra-low foam control agents, not only mitigates or eliminates existing foam but is also used to prevent the formation of foam altogether. Additionally, the Rhodoline® DF series of defoamer additives provides industrial and municipal water treatment formulations with high-defoaming efficiency.

• Antarox® - A family of powerful non-ionic surfactants, Antarox® offers outstanding foam control in a myriad of applications. For industrial and municipal water treatment processes, Antarox® can be used as a defoamer or anti-foam agent, as it displays excellent foam control properties in demanding environments and at a variety of temperatures. This biodegradable foam-inhibiting polymer helps water treatment companies, engineers and chemical producers deliver cleaner, safer water in significantly higher quantities, as it reduces loss of water production that normally results from the formation of foam. Available in a variety of grades, Antarox® agents can be used for extra foam control, enhanced wetting properties, metal treatment and more.
• Rhodoline® DF Series - This series of high-efficiency defoaming additives imparts good anti-foam persistency and quick foam knock-down to water treatment solutions. With versatile compatibility, low viscosity and excellent stability, Rhodoline® defoamers are available in a variety of grades for easy implementation and formulation. Rhodoline® additives are extremely effective at low concentrations, enabling efficient, safe and cost-effective water production.
