The Highest Strength for Structural Components
Kalix® HPPA products are highly glass-filled compounds that can replace metal in structural mobile electronic components where strength, rigidity and aesthetics are important such as housings, covers, chassis and frames.
Different base resins are used to tailor performance and processing requirements. Processing improvements include lower warpage, reduced shrinkage, and low to no flash.
Bio-sourced and halogen-free, flame retardant grades are available.
Kalix® HPPA products can be matched to a wide color spectrum, including light and bright colors. They can also be painted with coatings commonly used in the mobile electronic device industry.
Why Kalix® HPPA?
- High strength
- High rigidity
- High-quality surface finish
- Improved processing
