APE-based ether sulfate being used in a broad range of commercial emulsion polymers including acrylics, vinyl-acrylics, and styrene-acrylics. It is also an effective surfactant to emulsify the epoxy resin in water.
It is particularly useful in the preparation of small particle size emulsion polymers with high water resistance and excellent chemical stability. When properly used in conjunction with other anionic and nonionic surfactants, RHODAPEX® CO 436 allows for the trouble-free commercial production of extremely stable emulsion polymers.
Key benefits:
• Improve latex stability.
• Allows to achieve small particle sizes.
Sustainability features:
• Improve polymer stability → Durability.
• Resource efficiency → reduces troubles in production.
