The highly ethoxylated acid form of APE-free phosphated anionic surfactant, need to be converted into the salt form prior to be used in emulsion polymerization (commonly being used as a co-emulsifier) for different monomer systems with additional benefits of preventing flash rusting & blocking resistance, improved color acceptance and gloss. COATINGS: Very effective primary emulsifiers for a broad range of commercial emulsion polymers including acrylics, vinyl-acrylics and styrene-acrylics. Films of polymers made with RHODAFAC® RS-960 exhibit enhanced corrosion resistance and superior heat, light and PH stability, which makes them especially desirable for metal coating applications. Also allows for the trouble-free commercial production of extremely stable emulsion polymers. Key benefits: • Enhanced corrosion resistance and superior heat and light stability. Sustainability features: • APE free. • Improve polymer stability → Durability. • Resource efficiency → reduces troubles in production.
