L-303(LHR) ADHESIVE is a 250°F (121°C) curing, flame retardant, modified epoxy film. L-303(LHR) was designed to enhance the flame resistance of aircraft interior structures, provide excellent strength over a wide range of processing cycles, and is suitable for rapid ‘in-hot / out-hot’ cure cycles in heated platen presses.
Features and Benefits
• Cure cycles as low as 235°F (113°C), varying heat-up rates, and vacuum or positive pressure may be used without a significant reduction in bond joint strength
• L-303(LHR) is highly adaptable to various curing temperatures and pressures
• Low volatile content makes L-303(LHR) ideally suited for large area sandwich or metal to metal sections
• ‘In-hot, out-hot’ press cycles may be developed for this adhesive when using dry sub-components
• Meets or exceeds the flammability requirements of FAR Part 25.853
• L-303(LHR) displays excellent environmental resistance to salt spray, high humidity, and standard test fluids
