CYTOP® 341 has been employed as a ligand in catalysis for production of polyisocyanurate plastics, dimerization of conjugated dienes and the carboboration of alkenes. It has also been used in the synthesis of rubber containing phosphine oxides and can be quaternized and employed as a phase transfer catalyst in the production of vinyl chloride.
