CYTOP® 255 has been used to generate tertiary alkylphosphines which are, in turn, useful phosphine ligands for homogeneous catalysis. These ligands have been used in palladium catalyzed carbonylation and Suzuki-Miyaura cross-coupling reactions as well as the preparation of chiral organic compounds.
