CYTOP® 202 has been employed predominantly as a ligand in catalysis for catalytic hydrodefluorodimerization reactions, cyclocarbonylation of alkynes to hydroquinones and the palladium catalyzed formylations of aryl bromides. It has also been employed in the synthesis of metal clusters. CYTOP® 202 has also been employed in the manufacture of ethylene glycol from syngas.
