CYPHOS® 482T is a phosphonium salt with high thermal stability and solubility in many common solvents. It has demonstrated applications in metal extraction and separation, producing and isolating hydrophobic ionic liquids, use in lubrication additives, capturing of carbon dioxide, oxidation of alkyl aromatics, and preparing of mononitrated aromatics.
