Alkamuls® GME PC is a high purity grade cosmetic ester, used as an emulsifier, viscosity donor, opacifier, humectant, emollient and emulsion stabilizer in cosmetic systems. It is a product of the class of nonionic lipophilic emulsifiers and consistency donors that is compatible with nonionic surfactants such as PEG esters, anionic as fatty acid soaps and sodium lauryl sulfate, as well as in Cationic surfactants compounds. It is an excellent base for moisturizing creams and lotions such as cleansing, aftershave, makeup, deodorant and shampoo, among others. The formulator may use Alkamuls® GME PC as a secondary emulsifier for emulsions in oil-in-water systems, with a pH between 5 and 9.
