Improvement of bare metal corrosion resistance on Galvanized steel
- Improved passivation performance on galvanized metals (HDG, EG, ...), prior to sealing and/or painting.
- Increased corrosion resistance when a sealant is used.
- Heat resistant for an increased bare corrosion resistance of Cr3+ passivation submitted to high temperatures (de-embrittlement process can then be carried out after passivation, enabling energy saving & process simplification)
Improvement of paint adhesion and corrosion resistance on Steel and Galvanized steel
- Booster of Ti/Zr based treatment formulations
- Creates a strong covalent bond between the inorganic substrate and the paint, resulting in an improved paint adhesion, and especially an improved wet adhesion and an improved resistance to corrosion (less blistering, less delamination).
- Enables outstanding quality and service life for end-products.
- Stable at all pH and resistant to hydrolysis.
