Syensqo is all about chemistry. We’re not just referring to chemical reactions here, but also to the magic that occurs when the brightest minds get to work together. This is where our true strength lies. In you. In your future colleagues and in all your differences. And of course, in your ideas to improve lives while preserving our planet’s beauty for the generations to come.

Chemical Analysis of Solid Electrolytes for Solid State Batteries (Job Profile)
We are looking for:
The aim of the internship will be to provide characterization of solid electrolytes (SE) that will be used in the next generation of batteries, the so-called Solid State Batteries (SSB).
Physicochemical characterization of SE is key in order to understand their behaviour in the final formulation of a battery.
You will be integrated within the IMES (Inorganic materials for Energy Storage) laboratory, member of Syensqo group, which develops solutions based on inorganic materials for the energy storage market.
We count on you for:
Respect of hygiene, safety, environment and quality standards of the research center/laboratory.
Scientific review of inorganic SE state of the art.
Development of application tests for measuring aging of inorganic SEs in near real conditions.
Evaluation of impact of aging on safety and performance of studied SEs.
Physicochemical characterization of inorganic SEs by : XRD, NMR, N2 adsorption/desorption isotherms, TPD and laser diffraction, among others.
Summary, presentation, and reporting of the results
You can count on us for:
Integrating you within the Company Life
Development knowledge on the field of solid state batteries
Providing all necessary tools/services to carry out the required job in high standard of quality and safety.
Guidance on the development of the internship
You will bring:
Fluency in French is required (Basic knowledge of English is desired)
Good laboratory skills (Glove box experience is desired).
Solid knowledge of analytical techniques for inorganic materials.
Knowledge on chemical products handling in respect of safety standards.
Scientific curiosity and the ability to work in a team.
Experience on Microsoft office and data treatment software (e.g. origin)
Experience in programming will be a plus.
You will get:
Competitive salary + benefits.
Training platform for all employees
