We are looking for:

For an ambitious college student studying Engineering to gain hands on experience. The position will also provide technical expertise and day-to-day engineering support to the manufacturing facility. This will include: interaction with the operations, quality, warehouse and maintenance employees.

Full-time (typically days) during summer period. Can report to various technical or operational managers and be mentored by experienced Process and Project engineers.


We count on you for:

  • The student will work with staff engineers to provide technical support for day-to-day support, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement activities related to their development projects.
  • The student will participate in problem solving and process improvement teams.
  • The student will lead the execution of improvement projects including writing management of change, updating associated documentation, training employees, and developing digital applications.

HS&E Responsibilities:

  • Follow safety rules and conform to PPE requirements.
  • Always approach your job with the principle that all incidents are preventable. To that end you need to keep the following aspects in mind:
  • Always perform your job in a sound HS&E manner to protect yourself and those around you.
  • Risk assessment is a mind set, where you are always assessing hazards and thinking about means to avoid those hazards. Take a proactive approach to maintain excellence in all your assignments.
  • Utilize management of change for applicable situations.
  • Be aware of your state of mind (rushing, frustration, fatigue & complacency) that leads to distractions from the task on hand. Those distractions lead to errors resulting in unwanted incidents.
  • Use all the available tools for your benefits: HS&E training, Safe Observations, Risk Assessment, Incident Reporting, and Manufacturing Excellence tools.
  • Job completion means Good Housekeeping, filling necessary reports, and watching for your safety and those around you.
  • Your Personal Protective Equipment is the most important tool you have as a professional chemical industry worker. Maintain and clean it properly.
  • Participation leads to ownership. Get involved as often as you can.

You will bring:

  • Mechanical, Chemical or Industrial Engineering student
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited/ certified Engineering School
  • Must have completed at least one year of college
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Strong computer skills, proficiency in MS Office and ability to quickly learn new software applications
  • Reliable and conscientious individual that is self-motivated/driven
