We are looking for:

The Human Resource Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with all levels of the organization and will support sites in Louisiana and Texas. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: Kronos/Time management systems, employee engagement and development, policy implementation, recruitment/employment site support and employment law compliance.

We can count on you to:

  • Administer various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel

  • assist in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures.

  • Assist in recruitment support on site for salaried and hourly personnel;

  • assist in new-hire orientation; monitor and assist in career-path programs/succession planning; write job descriptions and post positions at the site level as needed.

  • Assist in conducting “stay” and exit interviews.

  • Perform benefits related administration, including sick leave monitoring, and communicating benefits information to employees.

  • Assist in payroll responsibilities.

  • Maintain compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations.

  • Assist in other site related duties, i.e. distribution of gift cards, etc.

You will bring:

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • 2 - 4+ years of related experience in human resources

  • Union experience preferred.

  • Technical skills; including experience with Kronos, Microsoft Excel, and Google Suite.

You will get:

  • Competitive salary and benefits package

  • The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $70,000 - $80,000/annually. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
