We are looking for:

The Handling Technician is responsible for the safe production, transfer and packaging of various raw materials and products for the Vernon, TX site.

We count on you for:

  • Operate valves, switches, levers and other control devices.

  • Perform daily safety/housekeeping chores such as picking up, washing, sweeping and shoveling.

  • May be required to operate different types of moving equipment such as trucks and forklifts.

  • Provide the base for our fire and rescue squads and at times anyone may be asked and required
    to serve on these.

  • Ability to turn in maintenance notifications in RCS on the equipment they are responsible for during their
    assigned shift.

  • Operate equipment, transfer and packaging of various materials, adjust and record process changes
  • Plant improvement team work
  • Training (SOPs, COPs, Active Learner, etc…)
  • Cleaning and housekeeping

You will bring:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years experience in production of chemicals preferred
  • Previous experience in forklift operation preferred.
  • Ability to work 8 to 12 hours per shift standing, moving throughout facility
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English
  • Ability to utilize a computer and associated software
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs independently consistently throughout shift
  • Basic math skills and be able to interpret lab results to make process changes.

  • The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $22.69 per hour. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
