We are looking for:

An enthusiastic Risk Management Specialist who will work in close partnership with the Group Risk Manager and the senior leaders in the organization to implement the risk management strategy and roadmap for Syensqo.

We count on you for:

  • Risk Management:
    • Provide risk management advice to senior leadership and support the business to identify, assess and set appropriate risk responses
    • Assist in the identification and evaluation of emerging risks within the organization
    • Conduct regular follow-ups on risk mitigation and risk response action plans
    • Foster effective communication and collaboration to ensure a comprehensive understanding of risk management across the company
  • Policy Development:
  • Assist in the drafting of the new Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERM) and Risk Management Policy for Syensqo.
  • Ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with various teams to support timely execution of risk management strategies.
  • Project Risk Assessments:
  • Collaborate with project teams to conduct Project Risk Assessments.
  • Work closely with project stakeholders to integrate risk management into project planning and execution
  • Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD):
  • Support ongoing efforts related to the new EU CSRD.
  • Play a key role in the double materiality exercise, emphasizing the importance of risk management in sustainability reporting.

You will bring:

  • Around 3 years of relevant risk management experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Business, Finance, Engineering or related field
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to interact at all levels of the organization in a manner which shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism
  • Enthusiasm for the Risk Management strategy
  • Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn and develop in the field
  • Fluency in English is a must

You will get:

  • The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $103,360 to $129,200 per year.
  • Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range.
  • Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
  • 16, or more, weeks of maternity/paternity and co-parenting leave, according to local regulations.
