We are looking for:

A student who is experienced in Chemistry and Process engineering knowledge to support the Process Development and Advanced Analytics projects for the Pasadena plant.


We count on you to:

  • Understand and respect all Syensqo Pasadena site safety rules. Participate pro-actively in all plant mandated safety activities and training.
  • Support the optimization of plant processes and unit operations.
  • Assist in the implementation of industrial product and process optimization programs.
  • Analyze plant or analytical data using advanced analytics tools.
  • Summarize and report results to relevant stakeholders.


You can count on us:

  • To guide you in understanding the plant production unit, chemistry and process
  • To support and train you on all safety aspects of the plant
  • To give you the opportunity to interact with the Industrial actors involved in plant process optimization and advanced analytics team (e.g., Technology Development Manager,
  • Advanced analytics team, Digital team, plant technology manager, all plant actors...)
  • To develop your process, chemistry skills and advanced analytics skills
  • To enhance your reporting and interaction with various actors on this project.


You will bring:

  • In pursuit of Bachelor or Master degree in Chemical Engineering and Technology or process engineering
  • Theoretical & practical knowledge on reaction kinetics, mixing, gas-liquid/heat transfer…
  • Interest in Advanced analytics, multi-dimensional analysis, programing (Python) a plus.
  • Proactivity, autonomy and open-mindedness
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work well in cooperation with other team members
  • Be able to solve problems
