Synthesis of inorganic materials for battery applications (F/H/X)

We are looking for :

  • At our Aubervilliers research center, we are seeking a master's student for an internship in inorganic synthesis. We are looking for someone who can handle various synthesis pathways to make materials for advanced battery applications.


We are counting on you for :

  • Participating in the conception of the work program and proposing improvements based on literature reviews.
  • Anticipating the safety aspects of the experiments.
  • Performing laboratory trials to test different methods of synthesizing inorganic materials.
  • Performing and interpreting results from analytical characterizations on the synthesized materials (XRD, TGA, electrochemical performance, particle size analysis, microscopy).
  • Interacting with different team members.
  • Communication of technical results (writing and oral presentations)
  • Respecting and contributing to improving the safety rules and quality procedures related to your position.


You can count on us for :

  • You will be fully integrated into the FIM - Functional Inorganic Materials - department and will participate in the daily activities of the laboratory. You will be required to collaborate closely with transversal teams (Analysis, HSE - Health, Safety, and Environment service, maintenance service, etc.) and with other entities of Syensqo.
  • This includes research experience in an industrial environment, concrete discovery of the world of batteries and materials science, contribution to an innovation project, and working in a collaborative environment.

You will bring :

  • Second year of master degree or last year of engineering school that you wish to complete as an intern in a research and innovation center.
  • A culture of safety, autonomy, team spirit, rigor, curiosity, and a passion for innovation.
  • Skills in inorganic synthesis, characterization (XRD, particle size analysis, microscopy)
